Learner Me is Taranaki’s dedicated tech training academy. We equip our learners with the skills and self-belief to shape the future of our region’s digital economy.

We are growing and we need another tutor to guide our students on their learning journeys. 

You’ll bring your industry experience and expertise to our state-of-the-art learning environment where learners study at their own pace, work on real-world projects and lean on you for guidance and support.

You’ll be approachable and empowering and will play a key role in developing the digital tech professionals of tomorrow. 

About the role: 
- Full time
- One is based at our central New Plymouth campus and

- One at Hawera Campus

Responsibilities: 
- Provide practical and teaching support for our learners
- Keep them engaged and enthusiastic throughout the learning process
- Be the key academic point of contact for our learners during their time studying with Learner Me 

​

You will need: 
- Experience in the digital tech sector
- Bachelors in I.T., Digital Media or related field
- Teaching experience beneficial
- Passion for nurturing potential in others
- An empathetic and approachable demeanour
- Adult learning qualification beneficial
- Understanding of manaakitanga
- Affiliations with local iwi beneficial
- Proficiency with Te Reo beneficial
- Very high standards of integrity
